  • 0.25 cup condensed milk Adds creaminess and sweetness.
  • 1 cup grated cheese Cheddar or Eden cheese recommended.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Boil a large pot of water with a pinch of salt and cook the spaghetti noodles according to package directions, usually for about 1 minute less than recommended. Drain and drizzle with a little oil.

Making the Sauce

  • In a large pan, heat oil and sauté the onions and garlic until fragrant.
  • Add the ground meat and cook until no pink is left. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Stir in the sliced hotdogs, then add the tomato sauce, banana ketchup, and condensed milk. Let it simmer for about 15 minutes.

Mixing and Serving

  • Combine the cooked spaghetti with the sauce in the pan and stir until well mixed.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning as needed, adding more banana ketchup if desired.
  • Serve hot, topped with plenty of grated cheese.

Notes

Topping suggestions include sliced hard-boiled eggs, crushed chicharron, or more cheese. Serve with garlic toast or pandesal for a complete meal.
