Base Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked garlic fried rice Using leftover rice crisps up better.
  • 2 pieces eggs Can be fried sunny-side-up or scrambled.
  • 2-3 pieces favorite protein (beef tapa, sweet tocino, or longganisa) Choose your preferred protein.
  • 1 handful chopped green onions Optional garnish.
  • some pieces tomato slices For freshness.
  • to taste NA oil For frying.
  • to taste NA salt For seasoning.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Heat some oil in a pan and add garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
  • Add in the cooked garlic fried rice, fry, and sprinkle with salt until heated through.
  • Cook your chosen protein: sear beef tapa quickly, caramelize tocino, or brown longganisa until cooked.
  • Fry the eggs sunny-side-up or scramble them to your preference.
  • Plate your dish by layering rice, protein, and eggs. Add tomato slices and green onions as garnish.

Notes

Use cold rice for crispier fried rice. Adapt the protein based on availability. Store leftovers separately to avoid soggy rice.
